Volunteers

MEMO TO: All Markham DHS Grads

FROM: The Reunion Committee

SUBJECT: How can you help?

With less than a year until the celebrations really begin, your reunion committee is hard at work preparing what we hope will be a very memorable event for you. However, we are recognizing the enormity of the task. Some grads have already contacted us with offers of help, and we know there are lots more of you out there that would like to volunteer. Here is a list of ways in which you could help:

• put your name on our "Call If You Need Help" volunteer signup list. Closer to May 14, 2004, we are going to need an army of helpers. A roster of willing bodies would be very helpful.

• think about being a class rep, prepared to contact as many of your graduating class as possible to begin the networking

• agree to work with a teacher to organize one of the many mini-reunions we are anticipating e.g. Yearbook Staff, LEAD Program, Rugby Tours, etc.

• donate small items for our registration packages

• provide at cost interesting saleable souvenir products

• provide services at cost or less that we need to cover all the details

• tell as many people as possible about the reunion and give them the Web address

• volunteer to be part of the all-years, all-talents-wanted, best-ticket-in-town Variety Show on Saturday afternoon

• look in your scrapbooks and hunt up all your MDHS paraphernalia to be used for display purposes

• write a remembrance for the commemorative book (more details to follow)

• pass along your constructive ideas for our consideration. We're open to all suggestions.

Keep watching this Website for other more specific cries for help! Fill out the volunteer signup form if you choose to volunteer. By being involved, you can help insure this isn't just the MDHS Reunion, but YOUR reunion.

LET'S MEET AT .......... THE MDHS 50TH. REUNION!
