Staff Brunch !

Cut-off date for registration for the staff brunch is Friday May 7th.

Come back to the library! No, your library books are not overdue but you are long overdue for a visit to MDHS.

On Sunday morning over 100 former staff members will be attending the Staff Brunch for our 50th Reunion. The celebration begins at 10:00 am with a meet and greet. This is a chance to renew friendships and get acquainted with long lost colleagues. The committee, under the direction of Sandy strachan (former Head of Girl's Physical Education) has put together a sumptuous brunch buffet, beverages and sweets to delight anyone's morning. The brunch will be catered by "Bon Appetite", a local firm owned by former MDHS student laurie Milne. The meal will commence at 10:30 am with a few introductory words from the Principal, former and present staff members.

The brunch staff have been collecting names from former administrators, secretaries, custodians, cafeteria staff and teaching staff. Many staff once thought lost have come out of the shadows and expressed their excitement in attending this event. Special tribute will be given to our colleagues who are no longer with us.

By all accounts the conversation for the morning will be humorous, touching, sensitive and raucous....WE ARE Markham staff after all. The brunch committee looks forward to sharing memories and your companyt on the morning of May 15th. See you at the Brunch!
