Reasons to come to the 2009 MDHS Reunion!

Among the obvious reasons to make the MDHS 2009 Reunion a major social event on your Spring calendar this year are…

• The rare opportunity to play a round of golf at Angus Glen Golf & Country Club with great prizes!
• A visit to the Markham Village Train Station, circa 1871, a heritage building linked by history to MDHS (for registration on Friday Night!)
• An evening of Pub Crawling on Main Street Markham with old and dear school friends!
• A Saturday to spend wandering the halls of Markham District High School, reminiscing and taking pictures to hold the memories as they tear down the old building to make way for the Third Incarnation of MDHS!
• A Party to celebrate long term friendships and memories of October weekends long ago at the Markham Fair on the Saturday night at our Reunion Dinner/Dance!
• The chance to continue the reminiscences on the Sunday as you organize gatherings of your Graduation year to touch base and catch up!

On top of all this, another reason to attend the Reunion is to pick up your
Ontario Scholar Photo that used to line the halls of Markham District High
School.
We have a team of students at Markham District who are madly scanning
and storing digital copies of all these pictures that have been tucked
in a closet for the past few years (since the walls were repainted for
the 2004 Reunion!!).
These photos will be available in the school on Saturday May 23rd, 2009
for you to pick up and add to your memorabilia of your years at
Markham District High School.
